Thoughtful technology for exploring the world

BRICT uses technology to support the healthy development of children and young people. Working with your organisation, we design interactive experiences that encourage active play and exploration. We devise creative solutions for everything from small-scale challenges to full-scale projects.

Our vision

Children are naturally eager to learn. We believe it is important to align with the way children naturally learn about the world around them. They learn through play and exploration. To learn effectively, it is important that children have fun and are free to interact with technology in their own way. That is why our programmes incorporate various forms of interaction that come naturally to children.

Through our programmes, we aim to help children gain new experiences and challenge them to apply their knowledge and skills. Our goal is to encourage children to take the initiative and think for themselves. To ensure that our programmes are tailored to the target group, we place the end-users at the heart of every stage of the design process.

Health and safety are our top priority. The most widely used technologies are not necessarily the best for children. We therefore assess the technologies we use for any potential harm to children and select the most suitable ones. We handle privacy-sensitive data with care.

  • 2. Concept development, prototyping & reporting
  • 3. Development, production & delivery

Analysis, research & consultancy

We excel at analysing challenges, conducting research and coming up with innovative ideas and solutions. Through interviews and user research, we gain a clear understanding of the users. We conclude this phase with a recommendation report. We can then move on to the next phase.

Initial meetings with your team Clearly define the problem Conduct interviews with users and stakeholders User research Literature review Research into available technology

Concept development, prototyping & reporting

In this phase, we develop creative concepts for interactive technology. We base our design choices on our extensive knowledge and experience, supplemented by scientific insights. The concepts are tested and refined through prototyping. The team is involved at every stage, and we evaluate the findings together. We document our concepts and design choices in a report and provide advice on the next steps.

Development, production & delivery

We will now set to work developing the prototype into a fully-fledged end product. To this end, we are collaborating with specialists. We provide documentation that can be used for a bespoke product or for mass production. We take full responsibility for ensuring that the product is delivered and functions as agreed. We remain involved even after delivery.
